Mariusz Dydo surprises us again with his extraordinary mastery of the technique, when he misleads our senses with porcelain so faithfully imitating the ‘balloon-like’ material, as well as with his precision of workmanship and ingenuity.

Exactly four years ago the first exhibition by Małgorzata Swolkień was opened in Lipowa 3 Gallery. Now the Artist returns with completely new works, in which heavy ceramic material, so typical for her art, is combined with the delicate texture of stained glass.
The forms of the sculptures created by Tomasz Westrych are simple, monumental, ‘coarsely hewn,’ as if they were made of stone. You can trace in them the same feature which is found in the art of primitive people, in the art of black Africa or the Pacific Islands. It is the same feature that was intentionally exposed by the artists of the twentieth-century avant-garde, trying to get to the primeval element.
"IN YOUR ROOM" is an installation exhibition, where glass objects, images and sounds form an integral whole. It is the very first time for Lipowa 3 Gallery to host such an exhibition. You are all cordially invited.

Would you like to know the history of one of the largest pre-war industrial plants in Krakow? Would you like to learn what jack or scraper is used for, and what glass fertilizer looks like? Or are you a fan of the design dating back to the times of the Polish People’s Republic?
The main motif in Katarzyna Karbownik-Urbańska's works is the nature of woman. Her changeability and duality. Discovery and concealment, passion and innocence all in one. The attraction of opposites is even exposed by the artist in the color schemes of her glass, in which fiery orange is offset by cool blue.
The sculptures of Małgorzata Swolkień, although they are firmly rooted in the real world due to their simplified expressive form, radiate lyricism and a poetic sensibility. Their austere shapes are softened by the colours most loved by the artist. Sometimes delicate, subdued and subtle, at other times powerful and energetic.
Easter is approaching. What can be made from glass and ceramics on this occasion? Not only traditional Easter eggs!
16 years ago, when Marta Wojciechowska began "constructing" her glass games, it didn't cross her mind even for a moment that dominos, draughts, chess or jackstraws would ever be played online. That her game objects would be viewed like ancient pottery shards accidentally dug up during the construction of a motorway...
